Getting out is part of this time of year – the days are slowly getting longer and the sun is warming us up more than before! One problem we find is being able to eat healthily while out and about.
We found a cool article on Strava which gives some good advice – they basically tell you to pack your own healthy snacks (such as nuts and fruit) rather than allowing yourself to need to buy something which is invariably end up being unhealthy!
Another top tip is to eat enough during your main meals so you do not get hungry in between. Typically it is snacking which does the damage to our diets, so by eating plenty of filling, healthy food at breakfast, lunch and dinner there shouldn’t be any need to snack in between!
It is important to allow yourself the odd slip up however, it is not sustainable to eat perfectly 100% of the time!
