The festive season can easily make us pile on the pounds as we enjoy the wealth of tasty treats available at this time of year. Whether it is chocolates, drinks or fattening foods, there are lots of different things we can enjoy now which might make us a little podgy for the new year.
One way to prevent excess weight gain at this time of year is to remember that christmas itself is only one day. That is 3 meals, plus a few snacks which might be a little worse for us than usual. We can treat all the other days as normal food days, which may help us to not gain too much weight this season.
